Arts
The arts are thriving in Erie. There’s something artistic for every taste! There’s the Lake Erie Ballet that presents 10 performances a year, the Riverside Inn Dinner Theater at One Fountain Avenue, and the Station Dinner Theater at 4940 Peach Street.
Those who love the orchestra can visit the Erie Philharmonic at 1006 State Street and enjoy the third oldest symphony orchestra in all of the United States. The Erie Philharmonic began in the late 1890s and is credited with bringing some of the world’s greatest musicians to Erie.
For singing and dancing without the dinner, visitors can go to the Stage Right Community Theater (652 West 17th Street), Roadhouse Theater for Contemporary Art (145 West 11th Street) or the Directors Circle Theater (1001 State Street).
